Now there's a significant societal shift - no longer allowing an uninitiated youngster to be assaulted by weird and confusing programming randomly in the middle of a boredom-filled marathon of  TV watching on a summer night. 

All weirdness must be pursued by this generation...I wonder if that will produce more or fewer weirdos?
